Apollo XVII - E.A. Cernan Omega, "Speedmaster Professional", No. 0934, Ref. 3570.50.00. Made in 2002 in a limited edition of 3000 examples, to honor Eugene Cernan, the last man on the moon, who took part in the Apollo XVII mission on December 14, 1972. Fine and rare, water-resistant, stainless steel wristwatch with round button chronograph, registers, black bezel with tachometer, and a stainless steel Omega bracelet with deployant clasp.
C. Three-body, polished and brushed, winding crown and pushbuttons protected by the guard, lyre lugs, back engraved: "E.A. Cernan, Apollo XVII, Last Man on the Moon, 12.14.1972", the center with Apollo logo, anti-magnetic dust cap. D. Black with luminous baton indexes and luminous dots, outer minute/seconds and 1/5th seconds division, subsidiary dials for the seconds, the 12-hour and 30-minute registers. Luminous white baton hands. M. Cal. 1861, rhodium-plated, 18 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock absorber, self-compensating flat balance spring, micrometer regulator. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 42 mm. Thickness 14 mm. Approx. overall length 180 mm.
