St. Christopher Omega, movement No. 8798185, case No. 9737751, Ref. CK 2041. Made in 1934. Very fine and rare, center seconds, Staybrite wristwatch with a silver and enamel dial depicting St. Christopher ? patron saint of travelers - and a rotating bezel for calculating elapsed time.
C. Three-body, solid, polished and brushed, inclined rotating bezel with serrated edges, straight lugs. D. Matte two-tone silver with a central medallion depicting St. Christopher wading through a river with a walking stick and carrying on his shoulder the Christ child against a ?rays of glory? background. Black dauphine numerals, outer minute/seconds track. Blued steel ?éventail? hands. Blued steel center seconds hand with counterweight. M. Cal. 23.4 SC, rhodium-plated, 15 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 29 mm. Thickness 9.5 mm.
