Stainless Steel Chronograph Omega, movement No. 9599167, Ref. 2279. Made circa 1943. Fine, stainless steel wristwatch with square button chronograph, registers, tachometer, pulsometer.
C. Three-body, solid, polished and brushed, inclined bezel, lapidated lugs. D. Brushed silver with applied gilt Arabic numerals and dot indexes, minute and 1/5th seconds divisions, outer red tachometer and inner pulsometer scales, subsidiary guilloché dials for the constant seconds, the 30-minute and 12-hour registers. Stainless steel feuille hands. M. Cal. 27 CHRO C12, rhodium-plated, 17 jewels, straightline lever escapement, monometallic balance, self-compensating blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 35 mm. Thickness 12 mm.
