Omega, "Fab. Suisse", movement No. 9388061, case No. 9978645. Made circa 1940. A very fine and extremely rare, stainless steel Staybrite wristwatch with olive-shaped button chronograph, 30-minute register, tachometer and telemeter scales, and a steel Omega buckle.
C. Three-body, inclined bezel, curved lapidated lugs, snap-on case back. D. Black with painted gilt Arabic numerals, outer minute and 1/5th seconds divisions, outermost copper-color tachometer graduated to 400 units/hour, inner with telemeter and copper-color base 1000 scale, subsidiary guilloché dials for the constant seconds and the 30-minute register. Gilt feuille hands. M. Cal. 33.3, rhodium-plated, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, self-compensating blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 37.5 mm. Thickness 12.5 mm.
