Omega Steel Chrono Omega, Chronograph, movement No. 9385096, case No. 9554672. Made circa 1942. Fine and rare, ?Staybrite? stainless steel wristwatch with olive shaped button chronograph, register, telemeter and tachometer.
C. Three-body, polished and brushed, flat bezel, concave lugs, snap-on case back. D. Two-tone silver with painted black radial Romen numerals, subsidiary dials for the seconds and the 30 minute register, concentric red spiral tachometer scale, outer 1/5th seconds track with 5-seconds Arabic markers and red telemeter scale. Blued steel lozenge hands. M. Cal. 33.3, rhodium plated, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bi-metallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 35 mm. Thickness 12 mm.
