Omega, ?Seamaster XVI?, movement No. 14726132, case No. 11422102, Ref. 2850SC. Made for the XVI summer Olympic Games in Melbourne in 1956. Fine and rare, center seconds, self-winding, water-resistant, 18K pink gold wristwatch with an 18K pink gold Omega buckle. Accompanied by the original box.
C. Two-body, solid, polished, downturned lugs, hexagonal winding crown, flat bezel, snap-on back engraved: ?Seamaster XVI Automatic- Waterproof? with embossed Olympic crest in the center. D. Cream with applied pink gold faceted dart indexes and pink gold Roman XVI at 6, inner minute/second divisions. Pink gold dauphine hands. M. Cal. 471, copper colored, 19 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock absorber, self-compensating flat balance spring, index regulator. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 34 mm. Thickness 11 mm.
