Omega ? Double-Dialed Chronotachymetre Omega, retailed by Kirby Beard & Co. Ld. Made circa 1906. Fine and rare, silver metal, keyless double-dialed driver's pocket watch with chronograph, semi-instantaneous 15-minute register for yacht timing and two tachometer scales, one being Omega?s patented (CH) scale No. 8760.
C. Three-body, "bassine", polished, glazed on both sides. D. White enamel, upright dauphine numerals, outer minute/ seconds divisions divided into fifths, sunk 15-minute register the first five minutes in different colors corresponding to the colors of the outermost tachometer scale running from 10.5 to 250 km/h. Pink gold spade hands. The other side with white enamel chapter ring printed with red 1/5th second timing scale and tachymeter graduated from 7-180 kph mm. M. Cal 19/22???LOB, frosted gilt, 3/4-plate, 15 jewels, straightline lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with Breguet balance spring, swan-neck micrometer regulator, the chronograph work is set on a separate plate fastened to the back plate. Dial signed. Diam. 58 mm.
