Omega Ref. 2648-1 Steel Omega, ?Automatic Chronometre, Officially Certified, Constellation?, movement No. 13156546, Ref. 2648-1. Made in 1953. Fine and rare, center-seconds, self-winding, stainless steel ?Staybrite? chronometer wristwatch with a stainless steel Omega buckle.
C. Three-body, polished and brushed, inverted bezel, concave lugs, snap-on case back with embossed Constellation logo. D. Two-tone honey comb silver with applied steel faceted dart indexes, applied logo to the upper and star to the lower sections, inner minute/second divisions. Steel dauphine hands. M. Cal. 354, copper-colored, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to 5 positions and to temperature, shock absorber, self-compensating flat balance spring, swan-neck regulator, bumper rotor. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 35 mm. Thickness 12 mm.
