Notes

There are very few watches that are as iconic than the famous aviator chronograph launched by Omega in 1913. Characterised by a large oversize case (45 mm.), an enamel dial and its chronograph pusher at 6 o clock, it reached cult status when Antiquorum sold the “Lawrence of Arabia” watch in November 2000. Launched in 1929 with the new caliber 39 CHRO, its movement was now magnetic and featured a 30-minute progressive counter. This particular, extremely rare model allowed the user to determine speeds from 10.5 to 300 km/h by simply looking at the scales and without having to do any calculations. Maintained in remarkable condition for its age with vivid colours on its scales, an enamel dial free of any chips or cracks and a mint condition movement, it can only be a masterpiece for any important watch collector.
