Case-back stamped with a figure in ancient dress holding a harquebus and a target, with a trophy of arms and a coat-of-arms (a heraldic eagle inside a shield) before him, with the motto “XII. Deutsches Bundesschiessen / Nuernberg 1897” (12th German Federal Shooting, Nuremberg 1897) (stamped by Baumberger); silver cuvette (dome).
White enamel dial, with suspended Arabic numerals; yellow gold “Louis XV” hands.
