Omega "Chronostop". Produced circa 1966. Fine water-resistant, oval, stainless steel wristwatch with single button chronograph, date and stainless steel Omega bracelet and clasp.
C. three-body, polished and brushed, screwed-down ring on the case back, "monocoque" polished steel central body with a thread on the back, inclined brushed bezel, chronograph button at 2, winding-crown at 4. D. satine anthracite, with applied tritium-coated steel indexes, outer 1/5th second scale, aperture for the date. M. Cal. 865, copper-colored, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock-absorber, self-compensating flat balance-spring. When the chronograph is in function, a press of the button makes it stop and return to zero in one operation. Dial, case and movement signed. Dim. 42 x 48 mm. Approx. overall length 165 mm.
