C. brushed side panels, hinged back door, gilt bun feet. D. painted on black background, ships, mermaids and whales for the hour numerals, borders with a map, in a lower right corner a sailor?s wife with a handkerchief in her hand, to the left two sailors on just discovered land raising the cross. Gilt pierced hands. M. Cal. 45 mm (20???), gilt brass, 15 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, self-compensating Breguet balance spring. Dial and movement signed. Dim. 110 x 110 mm.
