Notes

This model of deck-watch (or marine wall-clock) was created in 1936 and specially developed for the British Navy by Omega, at the request of W. T. Story Ltd., Barrow-in-Furness (County of Cumbria, North-West England).
Story, Barrow
W. T. Story Ltd. was an Omega retailer in England. This house was founded in 1882 in Barrow- in-Furness (County of Cumbria, North-West England), a harbour north of Blackpool, and home to a ship-building industry. As of the beginning of the 21th century, submarines were still built in this location.
