Notes

Launched in 1997 for the Japanese market and made in only 40 examples, this particular example bears the number 00/40. Featuring a prototype dial (with the Singer sticker on the back) with simply an inner white ring, the production version featured a black outer ring as well as black sub-dials. The movement itself does not bear a number indicating that this example was never meant to be sold or commercialised. Never having appeared at auction, it is a unique opportunity to acquire an amazing Speedmaster featuring a dial never seen before. Please note that due to the watch never meaning to be sold to the public, the watch has no movement number and therefore an extract from the archives will not be available.
