Stainless steel, self-winding, tonneau-shaped, gentleman’s wristwatch, water-resistant with screwed case-back, blue dial with applied radial indexes with luminous dots, centre-seconds, and two horological complications:
· Instantaneous date of the month (aperture at 3 o’clock; recessed date corrector on the case-band at 3 o’clock)
· Alarm (winding by the crown at 3:30; setting on the central revolving dial by the crown when the button at 2:30 is pulled out)

Lémania supplied his calibre 2980 to Omega to produced their “Memomatic” watches (“Seamaster” collection) under the name of calibre 980, “The only doubly-automatic alarm and calendar watch which rings to minute”.
Movement based on the Swiss invention patent No. 513 447, delivered on May 28, 1971 (application filed on October 7, 1968), to Omega Louis Brandt & Frère S. A., Bienne / Biel, for a “Pièce d’horlogerie à organe indicateur actionné manuellement” (Timepiece with a manually operated indicating organ).
