Cream colour lacquered dial with the logo of the Olympic Games. Case-back engraved with the mention “Seamaster XVI” and embossed with the logo of the Olympic Games

Made in approximately 100 pieces, these early versions made to commemorate the 25 years anniversary of official service to the Olympics
Games, in view to be commercialised for the XVI Olympiad in Melbourne, are distinguished by their rare and unusual cream colour lacquered
dial rather than the normal metallic dial. Another feature is the Olympic
rings that are all painted in a single red colour.
