Notes

Dial, case and movement signed. DIAM. 39 mm. THICKNESS 13 mm. According to the OMEGA archives, the watch with movement number 159963717 was sold to Spain on March 26th, 1959. There is no doubt of the current desirability for the first generation of SPEEDMASTERS. Characterized by their reference number, the 2915 has become increasingly sought after, due to their size, charisma and rarity (experts estimate their total production numbers to be around 3'800 pieces). Produced only during 3 years, the versions such as this one with the broad arrow hands and the metal base 1000 bezel are the most sought after. Still fitted with its original semi-elastic bracelet featuring the short clasp, this example is part of the 2915-3 series retains the most desired elements of the earlier series.
