OMEGA REF 2998-2 SPEEDMASTER TROPICAL DIAL STEEL Omega, Speedmaster, No. 17302525, Ref. 2998-2. Made circa 1962. Fine, water-resistant, stainless steel wristwatch with round button chronograph, registers and tachometer.

Three-body, polished and brushed, lapidated lugs, screw down case back engraved with the Seahorse Medallion, tachometer graduation on the black bezel to 300 UPH. Brown with painted luminous baton indexes, outer minute and 1/5th seconds track, subsidiary dials for the seconds, the 12-hour and 30-minute registers. Luminous steel alpha hands. Cal. 321, copper-colored, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock absorber, self-compensating blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator.
