OMEGA CHRONOMETRE DE BORD Omega, Bienne, "Chronomètre de Bord", movement No. 4000128, case No. 5896516, Ref. BA 121 JS. Completed February 6th, 1920 and delivered to Belgium. Very fine and very rare, chromed brass and mahogany, keyless, eight day-going Marine lever Chronometer with stop feature for precision setting and Guillaume balance. Accompanied by the Extract from the Archives.

Two-tier mahogany box with chromed fittings, signature plaque on the lower front. Chromed brass bowl with weighted base and gimballed suspension, locking slide, winding and hand-setting crown and button at 10 for the stop-feature for precision setting. Matte silvered with champlevé Paris numerals, subsidiary seconds, outer minute track. Black steel Breguet hands. Cal 21''' BORD, matte gilt, 17 jewels, the second and third wheels with blue jewels on the upper plivots, straight line lever escapement, Guillaume cut bimetallic compensation balance with gold adjustment screws, blued steel Breguet balance spring with terminal curve, swan-neck micrometer regulator.

This rare high-precision Omega Chronometer is not only in excellent condition but has a movement of very high-grade with Guillaume balance with gold screws, balance spring with terminal curve and swan-neck micrometer regulator. The Extract from the Archives confirms the production date as February 6th, 1920 and subsequent delivery to Belgium.
