Notes

Following the development of early wristwatches for military use, these watches were mostly being manufactured using robust calibers from pocket watches. Found in Eastern Europe, it seems that many of these early oversize wristwatches were delivered in or around Poland. An extract was requested from Omega in Switzerland but unfortunately we were informed that due to the nature of the paper archives from the time, some of the information was missing or had not survived and unfortunately it was the case for this request (email from Omega available on request). Nevertheless there have been very few examples that have ever appeared on the market and is without a doubt the largest time only Omega wristwatch available.
