Notes

Recognized as one of the most emblematic, historical and timeless chronographs, the very first Speedmaster was born in 1957, under reference 2915, and was only produced for two years.
It was quickly replaced by the model presented, reference 2998-1. Produced only between 1959 and 1960, this reference has a case with straight lugs, a bezel with tachymetric scale base 1000 and a beautiful “swiss made” tropicalized dial with three registers.
The movement is mechanical powered with the legendary Lemania-based calibre 321. This chronograph is in a very good condition, perfectly original and presents a homogeneous, pronounced and interesting patina.
