Purchased by the current owner over 15 years ago, this Speedmaster has a movement serial number dating to approximately 1959 and according to the Omega archives does not correspond to this reference. Probably exchanged shortly after it was produced, it is nevertheless not matching. While the bracelet, the bezel and hands were exchanged at some point, it features the original dial as well as the correct early caseback without the seahorse logo and still featuring the word Speedmaster on the outer rim. A great opportunity to acquire a 2915-1 with a slightly later movement at a fraction of the price or to restore an original example with a great original case.
