Created in 1957, under the reference 2915, the Omega Speedmaster is undoubtedly one of the most historic chronograph of the 20th century.
Produced only two years, this first Speedmaster is considered by collectors as "the grail". Recognizable by its large hands so-colled "Broad Arrow", this chronograph was the first one to be equipped with a tachometer steel bezel, which make easier the reading on the dial.
Housing the calibre 321, this movement is one of the most robust and reliable for this period.
This present example dates from 1958 and is the second generation of the reference 2915.
The dial presents an interesting patina and has the original hands. It displays all correct features from the second generation of the reference. The Omega signature features the iconic 'fat' O followed by the slightly longer 'r' in the Speedmaster signature.
Well-preserved, this chronograph is accompanied with its original box and guarantee. According to the Extract from the Archives, this watch was produced on October 30th, 1958 and delivered to Spain.
