Notes

Property of a Swiss collector
This Speedmaster is the third version of the original reference 2915 launched in 1957. This example was sold in 1959 (the only year it was produced) at a US Army European Exchange System. Considered by many as a transition model as it was the final version featuring broad arrow hands but already had some characteristics of the upcoming 2998, such as the black bezel and the Speedmaster logo on the caseback. Kept in excellent overall condition, the dial in certain angles displays a vivid brown hue and still has the extremely rare elastic Omega band with the short clasp.
