OMEGA COMPASS 24 HOUR DAY AND NIGHT DIAL Omega, "Compass Lépine", movement No. 6652549, case No. 7158847, ref. GS 141 LT. Made circa 1927. Fine and very unusual, silver and pink gold capped, keyless pocket watch with 24-hour day and night dial with points of the compass to Swiss patent No. 30613, the hour hand making one full rotation in 24-hours. Accompanied by a period Omega box.

Four-body, polished gilded bezel, band and border, the back cover engine-turned and with a central foliate cartouche with engraved monogram. Hinged silver cuvette engraved with the prize medals. White enamel, the lower half in a darker tone to indicate the night- time hours, radial Arabic numerals 1-12 and 13-24, inner red supplementary numerals 1-12, outer minute track with individual Arabic numerals 1-10 for each 10-minute section, red 10-minute numerals, points of the compass, subsidiary seconds. Pink gold spade hands. Cal. 19 LOB, matte gilt, 15 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring with overcoil, swan-neck micrometer regulator.
