OMEGA REF. 3944 COSMIC BLACK DIAL YELLOW GOLD Omega, No. 12877536, case No. 11116916, Ref. 3944. Made circa 1951. Very fine and rare, square, astronomic, 18K yellow gold wristwatch with triple date, moon phases and an gold plated Omega buckle.

C. Two-body, solid, polished and brushed, three push-buttons recessed in band, stylized straight lugs
D. Black with applied faceted gilt dagger, pyramidal and baton indexes; outer minute divisions, subsidiary dial for the seconds, apertures for the days of the week, the months and moon phases, outer ring with the days of the month. Gilt ?Alpha? hands, blue hand for the date.
M. Cal. 381, copper-colored, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock absorber, self-compensating flat balance spring, index regulator. Dial, case and movement signed. Dim. 33 x 33 mm. Thickness 12.8 mm.
