Notes

The Certificate of Authenticity (No. 39 950), dated February 23, 2021, mentioned that this watch was delivered on December 7, 1961, in Pakistan; with the remarks:
“The present watch is a Seamaster model that is based on the “intermediate” Railmaster reference ST 135.004 especially conceived and delivered to the Air Force of Pakistan (P.A.F.) specifically re-branded as Seamaster.
At the time of our expertise we observed the presence of an original dial that shows light patina spots and original hands at the same vintage.
The case is original and the caseback is correctly engraved with the number of the originally fitted caliber (20’476’983), the Seahorse emblem as well as with the marking “P.A.F”.
At some point in time, the original movement of this watch was replaced with the one presently encountered (correct for this model), and the production date given on this certificate reflects the movement presently fitted."
The mention “Acier Staybrite” is the trade name of an early stainless steel alloy conceived and patented by the Brown Firth Research Laboratories in Sheffield, United Kingdom of Great Britain.
