Stainless steel, manual-winding, vertical “tonneau”-shaped, massive gentleman’s wristwatch, water-resistant with screwed case-back, black inclined bezel ring under the glass, black dial with radial luminous indexes, subsidiary seconds at 9 and three horological complications:
· 1/8 second chronograph (activated by the two round-shaped push-pieces) with tachometric scale graduated on the inner bezel for 500 units per hour
· Half-instantaneous 30-minute counter (subsidiary dial at 3 o’clock)
· 12-hour counter (subsidiary dial at 6 o’clock)

Two-piece case, “Pilot-line”. Case-back engraved “Mikaela 5.7.74”.

This calibre was created in 1968. It was formerly called “27 CHRO C12” and used on second generation “Moon watches”. 21 600 v / h. 17 jewels until 1992. 18 jewels since 1993.

Case based on the Swiss invention patent No. 487 449, delivered on March 15, 1970 (application filed on February 24, 1967), to Ervin Piquerez, Bassecourt (Bernese Jura), for a “Procédé de fabrication d’une boîte de montre étanche et dispositif pour la mise en œuvre de ce procédé” (Method of manufacturing a water-resistant watch-case and device for carrying out this method).
