Notes

Dial, case and movement signed. DIAM. 44 mm. THICKNESS 15 mm. Approx. overall length 185 mm. REF . ST 388.0800 Launched in 1973, it was available with gray or blue mirrored dial, as well as in stainless steel on a leather band (Ref. ST 188.0001). This reference is called the "lobster" by collectors due to its bracelet design, which resembles a lobster's tail. It is one of the most sought-after electronic watches ever produced. Although the five "Speedsonic" references are considered by some to be either a separate line of watches or part of the Seamaster line, in all the official Omega documents as well as the "Omega Saga" book, they are clearly part of the "Speedmaster" line.
