Notes

Nicknamed "The Holy Grail" by Chuck Maddox, the well-know collector. He was considered as one of the leading expert, he identified the watch as being the rarest of the 1045 Speedmasters and the only one in a Moonwatch case with an automatic movement, a day-date in a window aperture, and a 24-hour indicator. The rarity of this chronograph led him to call it "holy grail."
Omega Speedmaster reference ST376.0822 "Holy Grail" was launched in 1987 and produced in about 1000 examples. Only approximately 800 are in stainless steel; around 200 were made in steel and gold for the Italian market.
According to the Extract from the Archives, this chronograph has been produced on April 19th 1988 and was delivered to Switzerland.
