Silver (0.800) and gilded silver, open-face, keyless-winding, round-shaped, pocket watch, with subsidiary seconds at 6, especially made for the Zürich cantonal shooting festival of Rüti in 1906.
Case-back stamped with the portrait of a hunter with a majestic beard, holding his rifle, with the inscription on the left “Rüti / 1906 –”, signed by Holy Frères, Saint-Imier (Bernese Jura).
White enamel dial with suspended Arabic numerals.
18’’’ gilded brass, going barrel, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensated balance with gold poising screws and blued steel hairspring with terminal curve, index regulator.

Zürcher Kantonal Schützenfest, Rüti 1906
The Zürich cantonal shooting festival of Rüti (district of Hinwil, canton of Zürich), was held between June 24 and July 2, 1906.
Omega – L. Louis Brandt & frère –, Bienne / Biel, is delivering 317 men’s pocket watches for this event, decorated by Holy frères, Saint-Imier (Bernese Jura). The movement of each of them is worth 35 Swiss francs and is accompanied by a house Bulletin de marche (movement rate certificate) set at 20 seconds.
On this occasion, independently of this watch, the house Holy Frères from Saint-Imier (Bernese Jura) struck a silver medal (Ø 23 mm.). On the obverse, the bust in profile to the right of a young peasant girl, the hair decorated with laurel leaves and the chest with oak leaves; inscribed “Rüti 1906”. On the reverse, a view of the village of Rüti; inscribed “Zürcher Kantonal Schützenfest” with the coats-of-arms of Rüti and Zürich.
