Patek Philippe & Cie, Geneve, No. 56942, case No. 56942, produced in 1878, sold on 7 December 1880. Fine 18K gold keyless watch with an unusual form of stem winding system.

C. Four body, massive, "bassine et filets", polished with reeded band. Hinged gold cuvette. D. White enamel with Roman numerals, outer Arabic minute ring and sunk subsidiary seconds. Blued steel "spade" hands. M. 18"' , gilt brass, three-quarter plate, 15 jewels, straight line lever escapement "a moustaches", cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Signed on the cuvette. Accompanied by Extract from the Archives. Diam. 47 mm.
