Notes

Made in 1905, this watch was first sold on March 23, 1911. It was returned to the Patek Philippe workshops in 1980, at which time the watch was entirely restored, serviced and fitted with a new case, dial and hands. The original case, No. 255213, was replaced by the present one, No. 125293, which is identical with the movement number. The triple-complicated masterpiece was sold by Antiquorum in its Hong Kong auction on June 7, 1999, Lot 576. A similar watch is published in Patek Philippe Wristwatches, by Martin Huber & Alan Banbery, 1998 Edition, p. 228, fig. 212 a-b.
