?Quarter Repeat? Patek, Philippe & Cie., Genève, No. 27229. Made circa 1868. Very fine, hunting-cased, keyless, half-quarter repeating, 18K yellow gold pocket watch.
C. Four-body, ?bassine et filets?, solid, engine-turned covers, front with monogram, gold hinged cuvette with inscription dated 1868. D. White enamel with painted radial Roman numerals, outer minute divisions, sunk subsidiary seconds dial. Blued steel ?Breguet? hands. M. Cal. 19???, maillechort, frosted gilt, 18 jewels, straight line calibrated lever escapement, cutbimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, wolf?s tooth winding wheels, repeating on gongs by activating slide on the band. Case signed. Diam. 50 mm.
