Patek Philippe & Cie., Geneve, No. 80799, case No. 215243, circa 1888. Fine 18 ct. pink gold, half-hunting cased, keyless five minute repeating watch with chronograph, in original mahogany fitted box.

Four body, massive, "bassine", engine-turned (rubbed), the cover with black champleve enamel Breguet numerals on the border of the dial aperture, the back with the blue and red translucent champleve enamel monogram: "G.C.". Hinged gold cuvette. D. White enamel with Breguet numerals, outer red Arabic minute and chronograph ring and sunk subsidiary seconds (hair line). Gold Louis XV hands. M. 19"', nickel plated, "fausses cotes" decoration, 31 jewels, counterpoised straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Repeating on gongs with slide in the band. Chronograph with visible work, push piece in the band. Signed on the dial and movement. In very good condition. Diam.54 mm.
