C. Four body, massive, "bassine", polished, the cover with an applied crowned monogram, the back with a black champleve enamel motto: Usque Dum Vivam at Ultra. Hinged gold cuvette with a photographic enamelled portrait within a frame engine-turned in a vermicelli pattern. D. White enamel with Roman numerals and sunk subsidiary seconds. Blued steel "spade" hands. M. 18"', gilt brass, 15 jewels, straight line lever escapement "a moustaches", cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Signed on the dial and movement. In very good condition. Diam. 54 mm.
