Notes

Patek Philippe pocket chronometers with fusee and chain are extremely rare, none being recorded by Martin Huber and Alan Banbery in their book: Patek Philippe - Geneve, dedicated to the pocket watches; moreover, this particular example is fitted with a very large balance with cranked arms to allow room for the helical balance spring, and with an unusual form of spring detent escapement with a crank detent.
