?Perpetual Calendar? Patek Philippe & Cie., Genève, No. 48280. Made for the Spanish market in 1878, sold to A. Maurer on March 3, 1884. Very fine, 18K pink gold, astronomical, keyless pocket watch with perpetual calendar and moon phases and lunar calendar. Accompanied by the Extract from the Archives.
C. Four-body, "bassine", polished with inset hinges. Hinged gold cuvette. D. White enamel with radial Roman numerals, outer minutes track, subsidiary dials for days of the week, months, subsidiary seconds with inner red date ring, moon phase aperture with its age on the border. Blued-steel "spade" hands. M. 19???, frosted gilt, 18 jewels, wolf?s tooth winding, straight line lever escapement "a moustaches", cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Movement signed, retailer signature on the dial and cuvette. Diam. 52 mm.
