Notes

The multi-tone sector dial is an excellent example of the Art Deco design. The contrasting polished and matte surfaces are reminiscent of the chrome and frosted glass objects which were considered to be the height of fashion. The clarity of the dial is also typical of the Art Deco desire for clean lines.
