Patek Philippe & Cie., Genève, No. 153537 case No. 271136, made for Julius C. Wall< & Son, Indianapolis in 1909. Very fine 18 ct. gold keyless pocket chronometer, awarded the Third Prize at the Geneva Astronomical Observatory timing contest 1910-1911.

C. Four body, massive, "demi-bassine", polished. Gold cuvette engraved with the awarded prize. D. White enamel with Breguet numerals, outer red Arabic minute ring and sunk subsidiary seconds. Gold "Louis XV" hands. M. 18"', "Extra quality", rhodium plated, "fausses côtes" decoration, 21 jewels, counterpoised straight file lever escapement, brassinvar Guillaume balance, "Extra" adjustment by C. Batifolier, elinvar Breguet balance spring with swan neck micrometric index. Signed on the clial, case and movement. In very good condition, with photocopies of the records of the timing contest. Diam. 49 mm.
