Patek Philippe & Cie., Genève, No. 138623, case No. 251975, made in 1907, sold to Ryrie Bros., Toronto, Canada., on 2 April 1909. Very fine 18 ct. gold keyless pocket chronometer, awarded the Mention Honorable, at the Geneva Astronomical Observatory timing contest in 1908.

C. Four body, massive, "demi-bassine", polished. Hinged gold cuvette. D. White enamel with Breguet numerals, outer red Arabic minute ring and sunk subsidiary seconds. Gold "Louis XV" hands. M.18"' " Extra quality", rhodium plated, "fausses côtes" decoration, 21 jewels, counterpoised straight fine lever escapement, brass-invar Guillaume balance, "Extra" adjustment by W. Beaufrère, Breguet balance spring with swan neck micrometric index. Signed on the dial, case and movement. In very good condition, with photocopies from the records of the timing contest and certificate. Diam. 49 mm.

The first one with 268.4 and the last one with 201.4, the maximum being 300 marks. 217 were entered for the contest.
