escapement. C. Three body massive "pomme et bassine carrure plate", polished with reeded band, the }Jack applied with the gold monogram "A.V.", (later winding crown). Hinged gold cuvette. D. White enamel with Roman numerals (hair lines). Blued steel Breguet hands. M. 18"', gilt brass, 15 jewels, single wheel duplex escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. First Adrien Philippe patented stem winding device, No. 1317 from the 22 April 1845. Repeating on gongs with slide in the band. Signed on the cuvette. In very good condition. Diam. 45 mm.
