C. polished, satined. D. mat silver with applied steel indexes + auxiliary seconds and 30 minutes register dials, outer pulsometer graduation for 15 pulsations. " Feuille" steel bands. M. 13"', rhodiumed, "fausses côtes" decoration, 25 jewels, lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance adjusted to 8 positions, Breguet balance-spring, micrometer regulator. Dial, case and movement signed. In excellent condition. Diam. 33 nnn.

Split-second chronograph wristwatches were the must of Patek Philippe technology and were cased in gold or white gold. Only three examples in stainless steel, made on special orders, are known to-day. The last one on the Market was sold by Antiquorum on 10 April 1994, lot 431.
