Patek Philippe & Cie., Genève, No. 97424, case No. 217049, sold on December 30, 1896. Very fine 18 ct. pink gold, hunting cased, keyless minute repeating, moon phase, astronomical watch, with perpetual calendar and chronograph, in original ebonized wood fitted box, with certificate.

C. Four body, massive, "pomme et filets, grande gouge", polished, the name of the first owner engraved inside the cover. Gold cuvette. D. White enamel, with Roman numerals, outer Arabic minute and chronograph rings, subsidiary dials for the days of the week, the months and the date, with inner subsidiary seconds, moon phase aperture with its age on the border. Blued steel "spade" hands. M. 19-, nickel plated, "fausses côtes" decoration, 32 jewels, counterpoised, adjustable, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Repeating on gongs with slide in the band. Chronograph with visible work, the push piece in the band. Signed on the dial, case and movement. In very good condition. Diam. 55 mm.
