C. Four body, massive, bassine et filets, polished, with applied on the back, the Royal gold monogram of Victor Emanuel, King of Italy. Gold cuvette. D. White enamel with Roman numerals, sunk subsidiary dials for weekdays, months and seconds with outer red date ring, moon phase aperture below "XII" (slightly restored). Blued steel spade hands. M. GiIt brass, bar caliber, 15 jewels, counterpoised, adjustable, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Signed on the cuvette. In good condition, with certificate. Diam. 49 mm.

According to the Royal monogram and the date it was sold, this watch could well be a presentation watch, given by the King at the occasion of the Italy Kingdom's reunification. Raro e importante orologio astronomico da tasca, calendario perpetuale, fasi lunari, decorato con la corona e le iniziali di Re Vittorio Emanuele I, con il suo astuccio.
