Patek Philippe & Cie., Genève, No. 137804, case No. 411396, made in 1907-1908, sold to The Van Hensen Charles Co. on 31 January 1936. Fine 18 ct. gold, hunting cased, keyless minute repeating watch, with photocopy of a letter from Patek Philippe.
C. Four body, massive, "demi-bassine", fully chased with scrolled foliage, the cover engraved with a cyrillic inscription below a cross and the head of a tiger, the head of a lion, finely engraved on the back. Gold cuvette. D. Slightly Iater gold engine-turned, specially made by Patek Philippe, with Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds. Blued steel Breguet hands. M. 17?, nickel plated, "fausses côtes" decoration, 31 jewels, counterpoised straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring with swan neck micrometric index. Repeating on gongs with slide in the band. Signed on the dial, cuvette and movement. In very good condition. Diam. 50 mm.
