Patek Philippe & Cie., Genève, No.174992, case No. 408725, circa 1915 Very fine 18 ct. gold, keyless minute repeating, moon phase, astronomical watch, with perpetual calendar and split second chronograph.
C. Three body, massive, bassine, polished, with invisible hinge. Gold cuvette. D. White enamel, with Breguet numerals, outer Arabic minute and chronograph rings, subsidiary dials for the days of the week, the months and the date, with inner subsidiary seconds, aperture for the phase of the moon with its age on the border (hair lines below the aperture). Blued steel Breguet hands. M.19?, rhodium plated, fausses côtes decoration, 35 jewels, counterpoised, adjustable, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, eight adjustments, Breguet balance spring. Repeating on gongs with slide in the band. Split second chronograph with visible work, the push pieces in the band and on the winding crown. Signed on the dial, case and movement. In very good condition. Diam. 54 mm.
