Four body, massive "bassine et filets", bezels and band chased with formai decoration, the cover and back with a blue translucent enamel over engine-tur ning, the cover enamelled with a small painted bunch of flowers and outer gold floral and foliage decoration against an blue ground(slightly restored), the back, with a small painted lake-side landscape and outer decoration matching that of the cover ( slightly restored). Gold cuvette engine-turned on the border. D. White enamel with Roman numerals. Blued steel Breguet hands. M. 13"gilt brass, bar caliber, 12 jewels, cylinder escapement,plain gilt brass three arm balance, flat balance spring. Earliest type of stem winding as invented by Adrien Philippe (French Patent No. 1317 of 22 April 1845). Signed on the cuvette. In good condition. Diam. 35 mm.
