C. Four body,"bassine et filets", fully engraved in a feather pattern, a small escutcheon on the back. Gold cuvette, engine turned on the border. D. White enamel with Roman numerals and offset sunk subsidiary seconds (hair line). Blued steel Breguet hands. M. 16"', gilt brass, 12 jewels, cylinder escapement, plain gilt brass three arm balance, flat balance spring. Earliest type of stem winding as invented by Adrien Philippe (French Patent No. 1317 of 22 April 1845). Signed on the dial and cuvette. In good condition. Diam. 45 mm.
