Four-body, ?Louis XV?, engraved, the front cover decorated with a painted on enamel scene of two cupids in the clouds taking musical inspiration, rose-diamond and split pearl-set border outlined in black enamel, the back cover decorated with a painted on enamel musical trophy, the border decorated to match the front. Hinged gold cuvette. D. White enamel with Dauphine numerals, outer minute track, orange painted Arabic five minute numerals, subsidiary seconds. Gold ?Louis XV? hands. M. 14???, frosted gilt, bar calibre, 15 jewels, wolf?s tooth winding, straight-line ?moustache? lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel flat balance spring, index regulator.
